The Ultimate Neutral Eye Shadow Palette? Natural Love
This week we are taking a look at the Too Faced Natural Love palette. While this has been out for a while, it has only recently been available in store in Auckland, with the opening of Mecca Maxima. To find out more about Natural Love, keep reading!
Firstly I want to address the packaging. There are no corners on the palette, which give it a very unique shape. Decorated with dainty floral vines and cute little birds and bunnies, the casing really sets the tone for the palette. The palette name, Natural Love, is printed in a raised felt texture. This effect is also used on some of the flowers and birds.
The colours inside the palette are, as the name suggests, are all in the natural family. If I’m honest, I was a little underwhelmed by the colour selection when I first saw this palette online. However, after seeing it in person, and swatching some of the colours, I was won over by the quality.
The layout of colours is really clever, ranging from white in the top left, through to a black in the bottom right corner. If you’re overwhelmed by the 30 pans, each row has a 6 complementary shades that you can use to create your eye look. While the shades look quite tame, there are loads of looks you can create from this palette. From barely there nude, girly pink, neutral browns to a dark smokey eye. If you are struggling with creative inspiration, the palette comes with some mini tutorials of looks you can try out.
