Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
Chocolate Bar Palette
My first impression of this palette was about the packaging. Having only seen it in pictures and videos, I wondered it the tin packaging would feel cheap and tacky. It looks a little like a child’s pencil case. However on actually touching the palette, it feels solid. It’s fairly weighted and feels really good quality.
Secondly, although I knew it smelt of chocolate, I don’t think you can appreciate just how delicious this actually smells until you use it. The shadows are cocoa powder infused, as a chocoholic this boosts my mood while getting ready in the morning.
The colour selection is beautiful and clever. It offers a selection or warm neutrals with pops of pink and purple. The shades are a mixture of mattes and shimmers. There are endless looks you can create. There are two larger pans, one a base, the other a highlight.
I find the contrast of the purple against the bronze shades works really well for a cut crease. You have all you need in this palette for a subtle every day look, a sultry smokey look all the way through to a heavy dramatic look.
Here I create a chocolate inspired look with the Chocolate Bar palette. The Colourpop Ultra Satin in ‘Point Zero’ compliments this look beautifully.
